Global warming is a growing problem. It’s clear that we need to look for solutions and innovations to reduce Co2 emissions. As a result of this global problem, the determination of the Environmental Cost Indicator for raw materials is becoming increasingly important. We are also seeing an increasing demand for the Environmental Cost Indicator valuation of our pigments. The Netherlands is progressive in this respect; we expect other countries to follow!
The Environmental Cost Indicator summarises the environmental effect of all environmental impacts in a single score, expressed in euros per 1,000kg.
We are progressive in innovation and development. In addition, we believe it’s important to burden the environment as little as possible. That’s why we were the first in our market to have the Environmental Cost Indicator for pigments determined!
